Manchester United Star ‘Hours Away’ From Completing Transfer
Manchester United seem to be right in the busy storm of transfer deals. Besides being linked with a host of names on the cusp of joining the club, quite a few players are also awaiting their departures to be sanctioned.
Numerous talents may be deemed surplus to requirement at Old Trafford in the weeks to come, and this may have a huge impact on how the club will carry out its business.
At the moment the reported consensus seems to be that Jose Mourinho won’t sanction any departure without having a replacement in place prior. In view of this, there is a big update regarding a United player departing the club.
Sport Mediaset reports that Matteo Darmian is closer than ever before to complete his switch to Juventus. The source firmly added that it is “only a matter of hours” before the Italian’s transfer will be made official.

Darmian, 28, is reported to have cost Juventus €12 million, and the full-back seems set to sign a five-year deal which will see him make €2.5 million-a-year (after tax) plus bonuses.

To add to the claim is the fact that the former Torino player was spotted with his wife in Milan, and it is considered that his medical will occur today.
This deal has been in the making for quite a while now, with Juventus being the interested party from the start.

Reports claiming that Mourinho was the only one blocking the transfer also made the rounds, added with the fact that the gaffer claimed that Darmian was in his plans for next season.
But now that United are strongly expected to sign 19-year-old Diogo Dalot from Porto, perhaps Mourinho has made up his mind on Darmian. It will be interesting to see how he will fair in Italy, particularly considering his versatility for both flanks.
