Anderson Talisca has cropped up as a new name on Manchester United‘s summer shopping list.

The English giants have already announced two signings, and are in the market to add a few more in the upcoming time.

Reports claim that as many as three players could be further added by Jose Mourinho, who is determined to fight for titles in the 2018-19 season.

Talisca completed a two-year loan deal with Besiktas, and despite the Turkish Super Lig side wanting to sign him, a disagreement with the player’s agent ended their interest.

The Benfica man is now believed to be on Mourinho’s radar, with the Red Devils preparing a bid to swoop in for the forward.

According to Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, United have made a £35m offer for Talisca. However, the report adds that two Chinese clubs have already matched that offer in order to lure him to Asia.

But the player is keen to stay in Europe and make a move to the Premier League, which has offered the Mancunian club a lot of hope.

The versatile player can play both as a number 10 and a striker, and could prove to be a vital backup for Romelu Lukaku at Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho had earlier claimed that he had no plans to invest in an attacker. But after having seen the situation in the closing games of the season, he could well add a player.

Gareth Bale and Marko Arnautovic are the leading attacking options, and if the club fails to get either of the two, then a window of opportunity could arise for Talisca.

The 24-year-old scored 20 goals in 45 appearances for Besiktas last season.
