United Will Sell Anthony Martial Only On This One Condition

It has been a tough time as of late for Manchester United forward Anthony Martial.

The Frenchman has largely under-performed since Jose Mourinho took over a couple of seasons ago, and in that time, has struggled to impress his Portuguese boss.

Martial has been on the periphery for much of his time at United since his big money move from Monaco, and while there have been moments of brilliance every now and then, the 22-year-old has been quite inconsistent in his performances for the English giants.

All his time on the bench at Old Trafford resulted in an outburst recently, when his agent Philippe Lamboley revealed that the striker was frustrated, and wanted out of the club.

While he may have his mind made up, it appears as though he won’t get his wish so easily, as the club is reportedly asking for £75m for the Frenchman to be lured out of Manchester.

The amount is especially high considering the fact that Mourinho doesn’t necessarily enjoy playing Martial in every game, but still considers him a big part of his plans heading into next season.

In fact, it was a lack of playing time that resulted in Martial being overlooked by France head coach Didier Deschamps for the World Cup in Russia, which only added fuel to rumours of his possible departure from the Theatre of Dreams.

Clubs such as Real Madrid, PSG, and Tottenham Hotspur are all supposed to be interested in signing Anthony Martial.

But with such a stiff price tag for company, it is doubtful that too many bids are going to come in for a forward who arrived with so much promise, but has failed to live up to his potential in a frustrating spell at Manchester United.
