What Ronaldo Said About Juventus After Scoring Bicycle Kick Goal
Cristiano Ronaldo enjoyed one of his best footballing moments during the UEFA Champions League quarter-final fixture against Juventus in the 2017-18 season.
After having scored one of the best Champions League goals ever, from a brilliant acrobatic overhead kick, Ronaldo was moved with the reactions the fans at the Old Lady had in store for him.
The rival fans in Turin stood and applauded the five-time Ballon d’Or winner after witnessing one of the best goals of all time. And that saw Ronaldo speak affectionately toward the Juventus supporters after the game.
“That was one of the nicest moments I’ve had this evening,” he said during the post-match interview. He then went on to speak about the Italian club.

“For people to applaud me at a stadium like that of Juventus, where they’ve had great players and where they have great players, is a top moment. I’m very happy and excited because this has always been a club that I’ve liked since I was a little boy. For them to applaud you, that stays in your heart.”

Ronaldo is now nearing a switch to Juventus in the coming weeks, as reports suggest that he has agreed a move to the Italian side.
The Portuguese is unhappy with the manner in which Real have gone about and treated him in recent times. The Spanish club will be accepting a bid for the player in the region of £88m.
Ronaldo is expected to sign a four-year deal, and he will turn 37 by the time his contract at Juve expires.
