What Cristiano Ronaldo Said After Sealing Massive Juventus Move
Cristiano Ronaldo sealed his €105 million move to Juventus on Tuesday.
The biggest transfer of this summer seems to have already occurred, as Juventus have completed a move for Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid. A return to Manchester United looked to be on the cards when he announced that he was uncertain about his future at last season’s Champions League Final.
But immediately after, the Portuguese captain put transfer talks aside as he looked to win the World Cup in Russia. But things didn’t go according to plans, as the Euro 2016 champions were knocked out by Uruguay in the Round of 16.
Reports suggested that Ronaldo had made a 1.35-million a week wage demand, which didn’t down well with Florentino Perez. Therefore, the Real Madrid president decided to cash in on the 33-year-old rather than offering a new contract.
