What will bother Jose Mourinho and the fans is that Manchester United have been ordinary so far in their tour of USA, where they are having their pre-season.
United drew their first two games against Major League Soccer sides before beating AC Milan on penalties in their International Champions Cup opener.
Although majority of their first team stars aren’t playing, it still is a matter of concern with the football they have played so far. But one player who has shined in the USA, besides Alexis Sanchez, is Andreas Pereira.
The midfielder was out on loan at Valencia last season, and is determined to be with the Red Devils this season and earn a berth. He had a decent outing against Milan and impressed the fans, who praised his show on social media site Twitter.

He was able to find the desired passes with ease and hardly stepped a foot wrong. Tracking back too, he was keen on winning the ball and looked composed. He could add valued depth in the United midfield that is pretty much loaded at the moment.
Pereira has the gift to look up and spot a forward pass, and that could be of help in finding the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku. Creating from the centre of the pitch is United’s need, and with Fred also in the mix, the department looks full of promise this season.
Will Pereira be able to impress Mourinho further and nail down a place in the squad? It remains to be seen, but for now, the player knows he has two more games to showcase his capabilities.
