Transfer markets are places where dreams are met, ambitions realized, and resolves tested. As of such, when giants clash for the big prize on the pitch, it is these weeks of business that spell the tale there.

Currently, Juventus seem hell-bent on altering Europe. After acquiring Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid, the Italian giants are now looking to bolster their squad even further.

The player they have in mind to do the same is a familiar face, and a talent that they’d be lucky to purchase in this window.

As per the Daily Record, the Old Lady is eager to be reunited with their former player Paul Pogba. The prolific Frenchman, who was sold to Manchester United just two seasons ago, led his nation to World Cup glory earlier this summer.

However, the relationship between the midfielder and United gaffer Jose Mourinho has been reported to not be the best, and as of such, Juventus will be looking to try and capitalize on bringing the 25-year-old back.

The report states that they have contacted Pogba’s agent over the possibility of testing United’s waters for a purchase, and believe that the sale of talents like Miralem Pjanic, Gonzalo Higuain, Daniele Rugani, and Mattia Caldara could fund a move that is now being reported to go as high as a mind-boggling £200 million.

It is clear that by pairing up Pogba and Ronaldo, Max Allegri will seek to extend their Italian dominance to finally bring home the UEFA Champions League title that has evaded them for so long.

Pogba’s tenure with them was brilliant, and it will be interesting to see whether he’d be open for a return to his familiar chomping grounds.

However, with the time left in the transfer window and United not looking particularly happy to let go of their favorite dabber, what will become of this saga?
