DONE DEAL: Manchester United Complete The Signing Of Manchester City Starlet
Manchester United have signed teenager Reece Devine from arch-rivals Manchester City.
The 16-year-old will ply his trade in the U18s for the Red Devils, after he was allowed to leave City, and that’s where United stepped in and got him for free.
He will hope to make a mark for the youth team under manager Neil Ryan. United academy chief Nicky Butt has overseen a huge recruitment drive since taking the role two years ago.
Manchester City‘s academy has been strong in recent times, with a number of promising players coming through.

Although most of City’s talents haven’t made an entry into the first team, they have done well elsewhere. Devine is one such player, who will want to showcase his skills after looking to embark upon a new challenge in his career.

The talented defender isn’t the only one set to join the Old Trafford unit. Besides him, right winger Connor Stanley is also believed to be arriving as a first-year scholar from Birmingham.
The young duo is set to join the 11 players announced last month as linking up with the second-years in the group.
The new season for the U18s start against Derby County on August 10.
