Cristiano Ronaldo is continuing to rule the roost ahead of the season at Juventus.
After getting fans in Turin sail over the moon since his move from Real Madrid in a sensational £88m deal, the Portuguese has now captured imagination of his teammates.
Ronaldo impressed at the FIFA World Cup 2018 by scoring four goals, and will be expected to have a say for Juve as a centre-forward.
His arrival spelled the end of Gonzalo Higuain’s stint at the Old Lady, who joined rivals AC Milan on a loan deal, which is expected to be permanent next year.
Ronaldo is known as a hardcore athlete, keeping his fitness and training regime on the up. The former Manchester United player wants to give his best for the new club, and is therefore training non-stop. He has been giving his all in training sessions and setting the pace.
This has impressed a few of his teammates at Juve, and one player who is largely impressed by the 33-year-old in training is Brazilian winger Douglas Costa.
The former Bayern Munich player is shocked at what he has seen at training with Ronaldo at the scene.
Costa stated that it is impossible to follow CR7 in training, and gave an insight on how the latter keeps going during the sessions.
“It is impossible to follow Cristiano Ronaldo in training. When we arrive, he is already training, when we leave he is still training, I have never seen a player like that,” the Brazilian stated (via 9 Sport Pro).
