Wolves’ Ball Boy Trolls Benjamin Mendy During Man City’s Draw

Manchester City have just been held back to a surprising result against Wolves, as they have failed to win an away match in the Premier League after a considerably long time.

Ninety minutes that saw City fail to display their ruthless attacking best resulted in them having to settle for a 1-1 draw against Nuno Espírito Santo’s men.

Pep’s side can complain about having luck not go their way, as his players came close to scoring multiple times, only to be denied by Rui Patricio and the frame of the goal.

To add to their woes, the goal they conceded not only had an element of offside, but also saw the ball being handled by Willy Boly to give his side the lead. Laporte did equalize for his team, but that was all they could manage.

An incident that stood out in an action packed game was one that involved Benjamin Mendy and a ball boy at the Molineux.

Not only did the left-back produce an embarrassing foul throw during the match, but was later also humiliated by a ball boy.

The French international went to collect the ball, only to see it being kicked away by the kid, a moment that led to laughter and brilliant reactions from the Wolves’ fans.

A day to forget for Guardiola and his players, and it will be interesting to see how Mendy deals with this incident on social media.
