Fans Will Love What Jose Mourinho Did During Club’s U-23 Game
Manchester United have undoubtedly had a difficult start to their season. The Reds managed to scrape past Leicester City on opening day, but have succumbed to thumping defeats against Brighton and Tottenham in the following weeks.
Jose Mourinho has come under fire of late, but he did manage to spend some time with the supporters this week.
The Portuguese boss shares a close relationship with fans at every club he manages. On Friday, Jose spent around 10 minutes with some disabled fans, as Manchester United U23s played against Stoke City at Old Trafford.
Birthday boy Angel Gomes’ wonderful strike sealed a victory for the Red Devils, wherein Diogo Dalot and Sergio Romero also featured after returning from their injuries.

The United gaffer had a chat with the supporters, and even posed for a couple of pictures with some fans, including Alex Nield, who is recognized by almost everyone at Old Trafford.
The young supporter has made it a point to watch each and every game, home and away, over the past couple of seasons. He has also been attending the Red Devils’ youth games, and was lucky to meet Mourinho on Friday.
Alex is recording his Manchester United journey on YouTube, and has been lucky enough to have met the likes of Paul Pogba and Juan Mata over the past months.
Forget the football for a second, Jose Mourinho has just gone over and spent 10 minutes with fans sat in the disabled section watching the U23s tonight. All thrilled. Fair play. Really nice touch.

It was great to see that Jose Mourinho managed to spend some time with the supporters during this difficult period. But Manchester United have an uphill task ahead of them, as they face Burnley away this weekend.
The United gaffer will be looking to pick up a victory which could inspire the squad to mount a title challenge in the months to come.
