Former Man United Duo Troll Man City After Their UCL Loss To Lyon
Former Manchester United players Rafael Da Silva and Memphis Depay were seen taking digs at Man City post Lyon’s win over the latter in a crucial Champions League group stage game at the Etihad.
Lyon won the match 2-1 to seal all three points. Maxwel Cornet scored the opener after cutting out Nabil Fekir’s cross, and the latter added the second with a superb strike from 25 yards after Fernandinho lost possession inside his own half.
Rafael and Memphis, who both played the match, were quick to take a dig at City. The two players’ earlier association with United gave them a reason to be extra happy, as United and City share one of the fiercest rivalries in football.
Rafael, who has won each and every time at the Etihad stadium, stated after the match that he never loses a game at City’s home arena.

The Brazilian played 169 matches for United during his seven-year stay in Manchester, before he was eventually shipped out of the club by former manager Louis van Gaal in 2015.
