Has Zinedine Zidane Just Confirmed His Next Club?

The football world was sent into much frenzy when Zinedine Zidane announced that he was resigning from Real Madrid earlier this summer. The stellar Frenchman had an incredible tenure with Los Blancos, and fans were left scratching their heads upon his departure.

What furthered this confusion was when Zidane didn’t immediately join any other giant, as was speculated initially. Despite heavy links with the likes of Manchester United as of recent, the manager remained steadfast in not confirming anything.

However, now his actions may as well be the closest thing we have gotten to indicate where he’ll reign next.

As reported by Calciomercato, Zidane was seen in a YouTube video at Zeta 5, a sports center he had set up at Turin, and had delivered the following message: “Hello everyone from Madrid, I hope you’re all fine. I hope to come soon and spend some time with you. Greetings to all and Forza Juve!”

This message stirred much excitement amongst fans of the Old Lady, who have taken this as a hopeful indication that some role or the other would be fulfilled by the star gaffer at Juventus.

Of course, the issue at hand is also that their current gaffer Massimiliano Allegri isn’t doing too bad either, and the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo may be finally leading the side to that elusive Champions League title.

This links well with reports that if not the position of head coach, then perhaps the role of a sporting director will be fulfilled by Zidane instead. Of course, no concrete evidence on this claim exists.

Juventus have been strong contenders for quite a while now, with a clever transfer policy coupled with sound investments leading the side to become a proper European powerhouse.

Now, if Zidane were to join their sides, months after Ronaldo made the move, then one does wonder what the Italian giants will be able to achieve.
