The next Premier League encounter for the Mancunian giants of England is against each other in the much awaited Manchester derby.

The disparity between the two sides is quite prominent, with the Sky Blues sitting atop the league table, still undefeated and having a recent 6-1 thrashing of Southampton under their belt, with a prominent goal difference of 29.

Meanwhile, the 7th-placed Red Devils only just won their latest game against Bournemouth, and have scored just one goal more than they have conceded all season.

At the moment at least, the historically more glorious Manchester United seem to be a destination of trouble, and one Manchester City star is scoffing at the prospect of being linked with them.

Earlier this season, a lack of gametime for Leroy Sane fueled speculation that the 22-year-old German was headed to the bitter rivals of his current side.

However, Sane himself has had his say on those rumors: “That won’t happen! That won’t happen! That won’t happen at all. I am really happy here and I’m on the right side.”

The winger has evidently gotten over his start-of-the-season slump, and has been a prominent presence in City’s brilliant showing at the Etihad, having found himself on the scoresheet against the Saints as well.

He added the following about him not being given gametime at the start of the season: “I have not been worried at all. I know what they want from me and what they expect from me and I will just try to work hard.

“I always enjoy myself. To play with these players under this coach is a really good feeling and everyone can see we enjoy it all together, playing with each other. It’s fun to play with this team.”

Needless to say, he will be amongst the talents that Jose Mourinho’s lads will have to be wary of when the giants clash horns next weekend.
