How Ronaldo Reacted When Asked If He Misses Messi After Leaving Spain

Cristiano Ronaldo has declared that he has not missed Lionel Messi since moving to Italy.
Ronaldo and Messi have shared the fiercest individual rivalry in world football for more than a decade now, but it only reached that level when the former joined Real Madrid in 2009, and began competing with the Argentine’s Barcelona on a regular basis.
However, with Cristiano having joined Juventus in the summer of 2018, the two superstars are unlikely to collide until their sides happen to meet in the UEFA Champions League.
Further, the fact that neither of the two won the Ballon d’Or this year after ten successive years of dominance appears to have further dwindled their rivalry for many a footballing fans.

Amid such claims, the Portuguese superstar was recently asked if he misses Lionel Messi and the ever-present competition offered by the Barca talisman during their days together in La Liga.
Ronaldo responded (via Gazzetta): “No, maybe he misses me. I played in England, Spain, Italy, Portugal, in the national team, while he is still in Spain.

“Maybe he needs me more. For me, life is a challenge, I like it and I like to make people happy. I would like him to come to Italy one day.
“Like me, accept the challenge. However, if he is happy there, I respect him, he is a fantastic player, a good guy but I do not miss anything here. This is my new life and I’m happy.”
Having bagged 10 goals and 5 assists in 15 Serie A games, with his side unbeaten and atop the league table, there seems to be no reason why the 33-year-old shouldn’t be happy in Turin.
