Sunday will host an iconic Premier League encounter when Manchester United take on Liverpool at Anfield. Liverpool is the only side that is still undefeated in the league, and it will be interesting to see what a struggling Manchester United will be able to do during the fixture.

Both Jose Mourinho and Jurgen Klopp will be eager to make their impact on the game, and even though the two sides are separated quite a bit in terms of points, the match is bound to be a cracker.

Here’s how the lads are likely to lineup for the game:

Manchester United

Injuries are plenty for Mourinho to worry about, and he was quite grim during his pre-match press conference. The mid-week encounter against Valencia was one where several talents were nursing injuries, with David De Gea and Nemanja Matic being the only ones fit for play, hence being left out of the game.

He did indicate that Jesse Lingard, Ashley Young, and Marcus Rashford would start against the Merseyside club. Injuries to Martial and Sanchez will be worrisome for their forward line, while the rest of the team is also tottering on instability.

In particular, a confirmed absence of Victor Lindelof, doubts on the fitness of Marcos Rojo, Diogo Dalot, Matteo Darmian, and Scott McTominay will shadow the performance of the side.

Goalkeeper: De Gea
Defenders: Dalot, Jones, Bailly, Young
Midfielders: Herrera, Matic, Pogba
Forwards: Lingard, Lukaku, Rashford

Formation: 4-3-3

Jurgen Klopp isn’t spared from injuries either, with a Champions League knock to Joel Matip keeping him sidelined for the game, alongside Joe Gomez, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Doubts remain on the fitness of Nathaniel Clyne, Dominic Solanke, and Rhian Brewster. To make matters worse, James Milner’s availability is also subject to a late fitness test, and squad-wise, Liverpool certainly look vulnerable.

However, their forward-line is in impeccable form and will be the primary source of danger for Manchester United.

Goalkeeper: Alisson
Defenders: Milner, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson
Midfielders: Wijnaldum, Fabinho, Keita
Forwards: Salah, Firmino, Mane
