Twitter Reacts As Manchester United Sack Jose Mourinho
Manchester United have gone on to sack Jose Mourinho, which comes in as a big news.
He leaves as Manchester United manager after two-and-a-half years in charge. Jose had joined the club in 2016 and helped the team to three trophies in his debut season. In 2017-18, he led the side to a second place finish.
But from the start of 2018-19 season things went negative. From the pre-season itself, United found it hard. And the conflicts on and off the field hampered the spirit. The team has performed badly this season and are already out of the EPL title race besides fighting for the top 4.
A club statement said: “The club would like to thank Jose for his work during his time at Manchester United and to wish him success in the future.

“A new caretaker-manager will be appointed until the end of the current season, while the club conducts a thorough recruitment process for a new, full-time manager.”
Jose’s last match was a 1-3 defeat against Liverpool over the weekend.
Here’s how twitter reacted:
Jose Mourinho – The right man, at the wrong time.
Thank you for…
– Europa League
– League cup
– Zlatan Ibrahimovic
– Making City fans cry with 3-2 comeback

With @ManUtd 19 points behind @LFC after 17 games, with the vast majority of players playing way below their best…and dour football to boot. Given Mourinho was allowed to spend hundreds of millions on those players the split seemed inevitable.

Manchester United indulged the out of control ego of Jose Mourinho for too long. He was destroying the club from within.

Still believe, at the time, Mourinho was the correct appointment. He’s given us some great moments and bought Pogba & others to the club.
However, this couldn’t go on any longer. Time to wake up as a club now and get a structure in.
