Mauricio Pochettino is a man in high demand, thanks to the manner in which he has established Tottenham Hotspur as one of the genuine contenders for all the available major titles.

His management style has attracted heavy interest from all parts of Europe, with two of the biggest clubs on the continent currently said to be keeping tabs on his situation in North London.

Manchester United as well as Real Madrid are eager to sign the Argentinian up at the end of the season, and it is only a matter of time before the two juggernauts collide using all their financial might.

While the Red Devils wish to rope Pochettino in as a permanent successor to their current interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the Galacticos intend to replace Santiago Solari with the ex-Sociedad gaffer, despite having offered the former a new deal a few months ago.

As per the terms of his Spurs contract, an interested party can sign Pochettino by paying £45 million for his services, which would mean both United and Real will have to cough up the same amount to close the deal.

However, Madrid are prepared to offer Tottenham a lot more through Bale who, at the age of 29, still has quite a few years of top-level football left in him.
