Solskjaer’s Classy Comment About Sir Alex In Recent Interview
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has undoubtedly made an immediate impact since succeeding Jose Mourinho at the helm of Manchester United.
In his first two games in charge, the Mancunians have scored 8 goals, bagged all 6 points, and played with an intensity and desire that has been absent from the club for years altogether.
While the Norwegian’s opponents so far have been teams fighting relegation, his approach to games has been spot on, and all his players have played with smiles on their faces, whilst enjoying tremendous freedom.
The current side looks quite similar to the Manchester United of old, back when Sir Alex Ferguson’s Red Devils dominated the continent and struck fear in the hearts of one and all.
Solskjaer has time and again admitted that his philosophy is based on everything he has learned from Sir Alex, and that fact is quite evident from his team’s performances on the pitch.
Ole is still regularly in touch with the legendary Scot. In fact, he was seen delivering a message from the 76-year-old to the media persons present at Old Trafford, and that moment has caught the attention of several fans on social media.
Ahead of the post-match press conference following the 3-1 win over Huddersfield, Solskjaer broke the silence in the media room by telling the journalists: “The boss asks how you’re doing and if you’re missing him.”
But the talking point arrived when one of the journalists asked Ole which boss he was referring to, as the interim manager simply replied: “There’s only one.”
Classy indeed, from Sir Alex Ferguson’s super-sub.
