Paul Pogba Reacts To Jonjo Shelvey’s Horror Tackle On Social Media
Manchester United wrapped up their fourth successive victory under interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Wednesday night. The Mancunian club beat Newcastle United 2-0 away from home to get off to a great start in 2019.
Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford scored a goal each for United in the second half. Paul Pogba played the full 90 minutes, and was lucky not to suffer a horrific injury.
Newcastle midfielder Jonjo Shelvey made a horrible tackle on the France international, which went unpunished by referee Andre Marriner.
The former Liverpool player made no contact with the ball as he wrapped his studs around Pogba’s leg from behind. The latter was seen limping off the ground post the final whistle. Fans will be hoping that it’s nothing serious, as United take on Spurs next in the league.

Pogba has been in superb form under Solskjaer’s reign, and is nowhere near the played troubled with difficulties like he was under former manager Jose Mourinho.
The Frenchman took to Instagram and shared a photo of Shelvey and himself. He put up a caption that read: Great win to start 2019… caption this…”

United went on to sail past Cardiff, Huddersfield, and Bournemouth, prior to this stern test at St. James’ Park.
The win will give Solskjaer enough confidence to spark a fight for a top four finish, as United sit just three points behind 5th-placed Arsenal, and six behind Chelsea on fourth.
