Sir Alex Ferguson Set To Coach Manchester United Yet Again

Manchester United have been synonymous with Sir Alex Ferguson for quite a while now.
Even though Sir Matt Busby took great strides with the Mancunian side, adding to their early history which penned some legendary moments, it was Ferguson who really stamped their authority in the modern era.
The Scot’s brilliant style is what most qualifies for the ‘United DNA’ that pundits still talk about. He’s had brilliant seasons to his name, with the treble-winning campaign of 1999 likely being the standout one. Now, he is all but set to manage the Red Devils yet again.
As per The Sun, Ferguson is keen on being the man on the touchline when Manchester United take on Bayern Munich in a replay of the iconic ’99 Champions League final.

The replay is in the works by the club, who wish to organize it on May 26, twenty years since the memorable encounter. Legends from both sides during that game are likely to populate the two squads again.
Further, the report adds that SAF has been approached to manage the United team, and he will do so if his health permits it. In May, the legendary manager had suffered a brain hemorrhage, which he has since recovered from.

These days, he is once again a regular sight at United games, smiling at the way the lads have been playing as of recent.
The famed fixture had ended with a dramatic 2-1 victory in favor of the English club, who had netted two late goals via Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, scripting what would be repeatedly referred to as ‘Fergie time’ goals.
Not surprisingly, the scorer of that winner at Camp Nou is now at the helm of the club in a caretaker role, with five victories in five games to his name.
