Paul Pogba has sensationally re-emerged from the ashes since Jose Mourinho’s departure from Manchester United.

The Frenchman has thrived under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s attacking philosophy, having played a crucial role in the Red Devils’ incredibly improved offense in each game he has played.

With 4 goals and 4 assists to his name in the 4 appearances he has made under the Norwegian, it appears quite clear that it wasn’t Pogba who was largely at fault during his feud with Mourinho.

And now, the midfielder’s brother, Mathias Pogba, has launched a scathing attacking on the Portuguese tactician, labeling him as ‘the problem’ of the entire situation.

In his interview earlier this week, Mathias told RMC: “The problem was Mourinho, right down the line. In the locker room, outside the locker room, everything.

“From what we see of Mourinho, he always wants to be the maestro, the centre of attention. Paul doesn’t even calculate that aspect. You respect him, he will respect you, you trust him, he will make you big matches.”

And Pogba has been doing just that for his new interim manager, whose first big test arrives this weekend, in the form of a Premier League encounter against Tottenham Hotspur.

It remains to be seen whether the 25-year-old talisman is fit for the trip to Wembley, however, as he continues to recover from the knock he picked up against Newcastle.
