Man United Star Keen On Signing New Deal – Thanks To Solskjaer
Ander Herrera remains keen on extending his stay at Manchester United.
The midfielder’s current deal is set to expire at the end of the season, with the Mancunians having already activated the one-year extension clause in his contract last summer.
Therefore, Herrera is already free to establish contact with interested parties and sign a pre-agreement in the ongoing January transfer window itself, and secure a free transfer away from Old Trafford in the upcoming summer.
However, if reports from Sky Sports are to be believed, the 29-year-old is very much interested in staying put at the Theatre of Dreams instead.

Herrera’s former club, Athletic Bilbao, have expressed their interest in re-signing the Spanish international, with the club’s new director of football, Rafa Alkorta, confirming the same.
In a recent interview with Spanish radio network Cadena SER, Alkorta admitted: “We are interested in Javi Martinez, Ibai Gomez, Ander Herrera, Fernando Llorente… all of them interest us.”

But Herrera has reportedly been enjoying life under new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and he is happy to continue discussing a new deal with the Red Devils.
Since joining Manchester United back in 2014, the fan-favourite midfielder has made 177 appearances in the famous red shirt, scoring 19 goals in the process.
