Ashley Young Names Four Incredible Young Players Currently At Manchester United
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has restored the footballing ethos that was on display at Manchester United for more than two decades, back when Sir Alex Ferguson was still at the helm of the club.
However, the three managers that were brought in as the full-time successors of the legendary Scot failed to emulate the Red Devils’ philosophy, with their poor performances ultimately leading to their respective departures.
Club legend and Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville highlighted as much after Jose Mourinho’s sacking, as he stated: “At Manchester United you play fast, attacking football in an entertaining way. You bring young players through and give them belief. And you win.
“No one should ever be allowed to enter Manchester United‘s training ground or Old Trafford ever again to shape their own philosophy. That is done.”

As rightly mentioned by the decorated full-back, the Mancunian giants have always focused on promoting their young academy talents – something which Solskjaer has also been doing since taking over the interim role at his former club.
Now, a senior member of the current squad has shed light on four such promising academy starlets, who have what it takes to make it big at Manchester United.
When asked to name the most promising youngsters coming out of the academy at the Theatre of Dreams, Ashley Young said (via Mirror): “There’s that many. Chongy has been with us, Jimmy Garner has been with us, Mason’s been with us, Angel’s been with us, just to name a few.”
The winger-turned-defender added: “They’ve been given an opportunity, obviously they travelled with us when we went away, and they are incredible talents. I’m sure if they keep their feet on the ground and keep working hard, they can do well.”
