What Manchester United Must Do To Land Dortmund Sensation Jadon Sancho

Manchester United have been linked with a summer move for England youngster Jadon Sancho, who is currently flying high at Borussia Dortmund.

The winger has been garnering a lot of attention after a breakout season for the Bundesliga leaders since his move to the Ruhr Valley from Manchester City.

The Old Trafford club is believed to be targeting a wide player, and has identified the teenage wonderkid as the top target. But getting him will not be easy.

According to a report in the Mirror, besides a huge sum of money, United will also have to clinch a top four spot to land the teenage sensation.

Dortmund are currently leading the proceedings in Germany, and are almost assured of a Champions League berth. On the other hand, United are fourth in the Premier League table, and are vying for a place in the top four alongside Arsenal and Chelsea.

If Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side manages to battle it out and hold on to the qualification spot, then there could be a possibility of landing the player.

Besides this, an offer in excess of £100m could tempt Dortmund in selling their prized asset. It would also mean that Manchester United will need to submit a record bid by an English club for seal this deal.

Sancho has been one of Dortmund’s key players this season. He has scored eight goals and set up a further 13 in 30 appearances. The player could solve many issues in attack for United, especially with Alexis Sanchez not being up to the mark.

Sancho, who had left City in August 2017 due to lack of first-team opportunities, has successfully proven himself so far at the top level. The report also adds that Dortmund insist Sancho is not for sale at any price. He is tied to the German giants until 2022.
