PSG Target Ready To Sign Man Utd Contract After Winning Run Under Solskjaer
David De Gea is finally ready to commit his future to Manchester United.
The club has been in discussions with De Gea’s representatives over a new lucrative contract for quite some time now. However, no favourable outcome has been reached so far.
The Red Devils are reportedly ready to offer the Spaniard a mammoth deal, with wages up to £350,000-a-week, which will effectively make him the highest paid goalkeeper in the history of football.
However, the 28-year-old’s agent, Jorge Mendes, wants De Gea to be the highest paid player in the current Manchester United squad as well, and earn £400,000-per-week – the same as Alexis Sanchez.

But now, newly emerging reports from the Daily Mail have contradicted the previous updates, as they indicate that De Gea is ready to commit his future to the Old Trafford outfit.
PSG and Juventus are rumoured to be the two juggernauts interested in the Spanish international. But with the shot-stopper hesitant in moving to the Ligue 1 and Juve already committed to paying mammoth wages to Cristiano Ronaldo and Aaron Ramsey, De Gea’s transfer to either of the two clubs seems quite unlikely.

Further, De Gea himself has been left impressed with the job Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has done at Manchester United so far, and he believes the club can compete for major trophies once again under the Norwegian’s leadership.
Mendes is still expected to haggle over a potential £375,000-per-week salary for his star client. But with the former Atletico Madrid man eager to stay put at the Theatre of Dreams, the Mancunian giants should successfully close this deal sooner or later.
