Old Trafford will get another chance to cheer on their Norwegian gaffer, as relegation-fearing Southampton visit a long-time unbeaten Manchester United.

However, the Saints have an incredible record at the Theatre of Dreams, and carry with them the underdog advantage. For Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men, this will be another golden opportunity to end the match-week in the top four, given the London derby that will also be underway at the same time.

Here’s how the two teams are likely to lineup:

Manchester United

Injuries still plague the Red Devils, but Solskjaer was confident that Rashford may start for the game.

The fitness of Anthony Martial and Phil Jones is still in doubt, but Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Ander Herrera, Nemanja Matic, Matteo Darmian, and Antonio Valencia are all assured absentees due to a variety of injuries, ranging from hamstring woes to calf problems.

Youngster Chong and Garner will certainly be eager to play a part in the game, while Romelu Lukaku is apt to continue his scoring streak after the resounding brace he netted versus Crystal Palace.

Meanwhile, Paul Pogba will be eager to give it his all again and get on the scoresheet, a feat he won’t be able to achieve against PSG mid-week due to his suspension.

Southampton

The Saints are in a dire spot, and will be desperate for a win. Their injury list is populated by Danny Ings, Lemina, and Obafemi.

They will be eager to try and attain their swagger again. Occupying the grey area means that they won’t have lost hopes on their season yet, and Old Trafford can certainly be shocked by a mindful performance from the likes of Redmond and Ward-Prowse.
