It is a good day to be a Red Devil, as Manchester United secured a convincing 3-1 comeback against PSG during their second leg Champions League Round of 16 tie.

The weakened team that was present during the 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford three weeks ago wasn’t in evidence on Wednesday night.

A mentally strong side marched on towards victory, first courtesy of a Romelu Lukaku brace, and more importantly by virtue of a Fergie time Marcus Rashford penalty that decided the aggregate score line in their favor.

The victory is made even more special due to the fact that the Red Devils were severely handicapped by their injury list, with 10 senior team players out of action and Paul Pogba suspended for the vital encounter.

Regardless, the team powered through and the celebrations riddled across the roster. Even the injured players played a part in the team’s joy.

Anthony Martial, despite being left in Manchester due to his injury, which he incidentally picked up in the first leg, still posted a charming celebration to Rashford’s dramatic winner.

The French forward must have certainly been gutted that he couldn’t perform in France, akin to his compatriot Pogba.

Regardless, the manner in which he celebrated indicates how deep the passion runs, and now, he potentially has the chance of aiding United in the quarter finals.
