Ole’s been excelling at the wheel, as Manchester United did the unthinkable and cruised through to a 3-1 thrashing of PSG. The Parisians were caught thoroughly off guard by the rejuvenated Red Devils.

Luck certainly favored the Mancunian giants, as Romelu Lukaku’s brace alone wouldn’t have been enough had Marcus Rashford’s VAR penalty not been given.

The players were passionate in their celebration. The bench nearly choked Solskjaer in the manner in which they hugged him after the full-time whistle.

This win is particularly important when viewed through the unfortunate background of the injury list that afflicted the traveling squad.

Ten senior players were injured in the build up to the fixture, Paul Pogba was suspended for the game, the substitutes bench was populated by teenagers, and a makeshift, albeit passionate, starting eleven was fielded by the team.

In spite of all these shortcomings, a convincing display was on show. But one of the players who was unable to play due to injury was Jesse Lingard.

However, the Englishman’s celebration in reaction to Rashford’s penalty win was outstanding. Throughout the game, Lingard’s reactions were priceless, and many of those clips went viral.

A true Mancunian lad, he’ll now be eager to be fit again and be out and running and scoring for the Red Devils.
