Following Manchester United‘s progression to the quarterfinals of the Champions League, a lot of their players seem certain about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s future at the club.

A host of fans and pundits have already called for the Norwegian’s permanent appointment, and now, numerous Red Devils have added their voices to the chorus.

Jesse Lingard, who is once again working on regaining his full fitness, was also amongst the Ole supporters post Wednesday night, although his showcased his support through a typical social media post.

Referencing the club faithful’s famous chant “Ole’s at the wheel,” Lingard posted the following picture on his official Instagram handle:

Meanwhile, other first-team stars have also voiced their opinion on the issue. When asked about Ole’s chances of bagging the permanent role, Luke Shaw replied: “I don’t think I need to say much after all these results, it looks certain. We all love Ole and we love the job he’s done so far.

“We’re enjoying everything that’s going on at the moment and the results have shown that. We’ve had a couple of blips but that’s nine away matches (won in a row) now, they’re not easy games, but it shows what Ole and his staff have done. Long may that continue.”

In-form striker Romelu Lukaku echoed these views, as he claimed: “I think it has been decided. I think he is going to get it. He should get it. If you look at the games that we played, everybody was talking I think after the first four games because we played, with all respect, against lesser opposition.

“But then when we won at Tottenham, Chelsea away, at Arsenal in the FA Cup, now this game today. What else does he have to do (to get the job)?”
