PSG Superstar Claims He Can’t Sleep Since The Manchester United Defeat
Kylian Mbappe has been having sleepless nights since losing to Manchester United.
Despite having secured a safe 2-0 win away at Old Trafford in the first leg of their Round of 16 encounter, Paris Saint-Germain succumbed to a 3-1 loss in the second leg, which knocked them out of the Champions League.
Not only was the result an enormous upset, but Manchester United also made history by beating the Parisians, as they became the first team ever to qualify for the quarterfinals after losing the first leg by a 2-goal margin.
As expected, the loss was extremely difficult to take for PSG, and Kylian Mbappe has now revealed how it has affected him and the rest of his teammates.

Speaking to Telefoot, the Frenchman admitted: “There are no words. I’m stunned. I have not managed to sleep. I think it has been the same for everybody else. It’s difficult to take because we had to work so hard to get to this point and we got eliminated.
“But football doesn’t stop, we’ll try to keep our heads up and finish the season strongly. It was our goal to progress – we work hard for that every day. It was a great atmosphere, we didn’t want to spoil the party, but it was ruined.”
The 20-year-old also went on to commit his future to PSG, as he added: “There are many people who will have doubts and will doubt us in future, but I still believe in this project.
“I think that if we stick together we will succeed in doing something special with this club. If we were eliminated then it might be that we were just not up to the task.
“I’ll be here next year for sure, that’s already agreed. It doesn’t help to worry about my personal situation so that’s it. Clear and precise.”
