Manchester United could secure the services of Wilfried Zaha for a discounted fee.

Following a disastrous spell at Old Trafford, Wilfried Zaha successfully revived his career after returning to former club Crystal Palace. Since heading back to Selhurst Park, he has undoubtedly developed into one of the best forwards in the Premier League.

The Ivory Coast international’s performances have attracted numerous eyes, with several juggernauts in English football linked with a big move for the pacey winger.

Now, according to The Sun, the Red Devils have also entered the fray, and they can close this deal for a discounted price.

The report indicates that Manchester United inserted a clause in Zaha’s contract when they sold him back to Palace for a meagre £6m including add-ons.

As per the terms of that deal, the Mancunians will receive a 25 percent cut of the profits of his next move. This very condition would effectively allow them to re-sign the £70m-rated star for a significantly diminished transfer fee.

United continue to search for a forward to take over their right flank, and Zaha could end up being the perfect recruit for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Norwegian has already worked with the 26-year-old during their time together at Cardiff City, where the duo shared a healthy working relationship. In fact, Ole had singled-out Zaha’s dedication, likening his skills and confidence to a young Cristiano Ronaldo.

With speculation now on a steady rise, will the 20-time English champions make their advantage count and bring Zaha back to the Theatre of Dreams?
