After Manchester United‘s loss in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals at the hands of Barcelona, one thing that was confirmed was that the players in their ranks are way below in terms of quality as compared to their Spanish counterparts.

United are out of every tournament this season, and they have just five games left in the Premier League, and the catch is fighting for the top four.

Not finishing in the same will hurt their chances of luring world class players. But amid all this, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eyeing a summer revival in terms of outgoings and incomings at the club.

United need an overhaul, and several players have been identified to exit the Old Trafford unit. On the other hand, the club has also identified a few players to bolster the squad.

The players linked with a move to United are Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane, Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez, and the English trio of Declan Rice, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Jadon Sancho.

United will be trying to lure some of these targets which, in turn, promises to be a busy window.

Meanwhile, at least eight players are expected to leave the club. It remains to be seen how the outgoings pan out.
