Jesse Lingard missed a sitter against Man City at Old Trafford.
Two stunning goals from Bernardo Silva and Leroy Sane in the Manchester derby proved enough for the Sky Blues to rocket themselves back to the top of the Premier League table.
Manchester United failed to maintain their impressive first-half performance, and fell behind in th 54th minute as Bernardo Silva’s low drive went inside United keeper David de Gea’s near post.
However, almost immediately, United got the chance to equalise after Kompany’s mistake in front of City’s goal, only for Jesse Lingard to miss from close-range.
