Victor Lindelof has revealed how he plans to stop Eden Hazard.

Manchester United and Chelsea are all set to collide in a crucial Premier League encounter on Sunday, and the result of the match will undoubtedly have huge implications in the top 4 race.

The Red Devils have been enduring a goal drought of late, and their defence has been extremely leaky as well. Despite that fact, Victor Lindelof is confident of dealing with the Blues at Old Trafford.

The Swede has definitely been the Mancunian giants’ best defender this season, and his display against the Londoners will have a major say in the outcome of the game.

Lindelof had his say regarding his upcoming opponents in an exclusive interview with United Review, wherein he stated: “They’re just a very good team with some fantastic players. Even if they have a bad day, they still have very good individual players who can create chances from almost nothing.

“They’re very good in possession so you have to be really focused when you’re defending. You can’t give them too much space. They’re a good team but we’ll be ready for this game.”

The 24-year-old then went on to address the threat of Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard, who is single-handedly capable of sealing the tie in his side’s favour.

When asked how he plans to deal with the Belgian, Lindelof replied: “Don’t give him too much space because he will do something great, he’s a fantastic player. He’s shown that for a lot of years now. You have to stay close to him and don’t let him have any space with the ball facing our goal.”
