David de Gea was largely responsible for conceding the sole goal in Manchester United’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Sunday.
In recent weeks, the Spanish international made huge errors against the likes of Barcelona and Everton, which ultimately ended up costing his side the game.
Now his mistake against Chelsea, could end up costing his side the Champions League football for next season.
The Red Devils took an early lead from Juan Mata’s goal, however, just before half-time De Gea palmed Antonio Rudiger’s shot into the path of Marcos Alonso, who levelled from a tight angle.
Regardless, fans at Old Trafford were supportive of their keeper, who has been club’s best player in post Sir Alex era.

Top 4 hopes are all but over for the red side of Manchester, and now fans will hope the contract issue, which might be the reason behind De Gea’s dip in form, could be resolved before the start of next season.
