Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is prepared to sell Anthony Martial due to his poor attitude.
Anthony Martial has infuriated Ole Gunnar Solskjaer by his poor attitude in training, and now the new Manchester United manager is ready to listen to offers for the Frenchman this summer, reports the Sun,
Before Everton match in April, Solskjaer lashed out at the underperforming United players, and also singled out Anthony Martial for his underwhelming form.
The Norwegian said: “I’ve learned a lot about them over the months I’ve been here now. You get to know them; most of them have really impressed me in their attitude and there are some that need to get a reality check on where they’re at.
“I’ve spoken to individuals and they know, and Anthony’s one of them. I’ve spoken to all of them individually what we expect from them.
“Anthony’s got a massive talent, he’s signed a new contract, he knows that we believe in him so just keep on working. I think anyone that plays for Manchester United has to deliver to stay in the squad and stay in the team.”
The 24-year-old has scored just two league goals in 2019, and has now slipped down the pecking order, finding himself behind Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku.
Following the disappointing draw against Huddersfield, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer solskjaer confirmed that a mass-exodus was on, stating: “I can’t talk about individuals now but there’s a chance you’ve seen the last of players anyway. There’s always a chance it’s a last time but I wouldn’t say that about any individual now, I don’t think that’s fair.”
