On Friday, Juventus confirmed that they would be parting ways with manager Massimiliano Allegri at the end of the season.

Failure to win the Champions League, even after Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival at the Old Lady, appears to have convinced the Italian giants to part ways with Allegri and start afresh with a new gaffer.

While the 51-year-old’s departure from Turin has created a buzz around Juve, it has also sparked discussions amongst supporters of Manchester United.

After having sacked Jose Mourinho in December, the Red Devils were also expected to announce the signing of a new permanent manager in the summer of 2019.

However, the Mancunians ended up handing the permanent reigns to interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in March itself, due to the Norwegian’s sensational start to life at the Old Trafford helm.

But things have not gone too well for Solskjaer since his full-time appointment, as his team produced one of the worst finishes to a season, whilst appearing completely uninspiring on the pitch.

And now, with Allegri available in the market, many Manchester United fans have begun wondering how things would have panned out had the club waited until summer to make the decision regarding the full-time managerial position.

Here’s how the Reds’ fan-base reacted on Twitter following the announcement of Allegri’s Juve exit:
