Manchester United Have Started Negotiations For €120m Joao Felix Transfer

Manchester United plan to “win the race” to sign Joao Felix.

The young starlet enjoyed his breakthrough campaign at Benfica this season, as he scored 19 goals and bagged eight assists in 37 appearances for the Portuguese outfit.

His performances have attracted a host of European powerhouses, and a bidding war for his services seems to be imminent.

According to the latest report from Record, two top clubs from the continent, viz. Atletico Madrid and Manchester United, intend to “win the race” for the 19-year-old talent.

With Antoine Griezmann set to depart from the Spanish capital, Atletico have identified Felix as a potential replacement for their outgoing French talisman.

In fact, the Red Devils’ scouts were also present during Benfica’s 4-1 victory over Santa Clara on Saturday, supposedly to watch Felix in action.

The report further adds that the Mancunians have “started negotiations” for the forward, and are prepared to meet his €120 million release clause. Moreover, “the next few weeks will be decisive” in concluding this transfer saga.
