Harry Maguire has dropped a hint regarding where his future lies.
The talented centre-back has been widely expected to part ways with the Foxes this summer, with multiple sources claiming he has well and truly played his final game for Leicester City.
In the meantime, Maguire has attracted heavy interest from Manchester, with both the juggernauts from the city said to be interested in securing his services.
Amid the speculation surrounding his future, Maguire has now dropped a hint as to where his future might lie, and his comments are likely to deal a huge blow to the Mancunians’ hopes.
The England international has claimed that he is looking forward to staying put at the King Power outfit, especially now that Brendan Rodgers has taken over the managerial helm.
Speaking to the BBC, Maguire stated: “Leicester’s an exciting club to be at − Brendan has really improved the team in the recent months, and he’s someone we’re looking forward to working with.
“I’m sure he will take the club forward. He’s definitely got his own aspects in the game, and I’m sure he will improve us. After a good pre-season, I’m sure he’s the man that can help us break into those European spaces.”
