Manchester United have tabled a “staggering” offer for Adrien Rabiot.
The Paris Saint-Germain outcast is all set to depart from the French capital as a free agent on July 1, and a number of clubs have expressed strong interest in his services.
While the likes of Juventus, Tottenham Hotspur, and Real Betis are eyeing a move for the midfielder, Manchester United seem to have already submitted an offer – one which is being deemed as “staggering”.
According to reports in France (via Mirror), the Red Devils have offered the 24-year-old huge wages worth £170,000-a-week.
This deal would see Rabiot become one of the top earners at the Old Trafford club, as he will pocket an astonishing €10 million (£8.86million) annually.
However, there would still be six players ahead of him on the wage list, viz. Alexis Sanchez, Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, David De Gea, Romelu Lukaku, and Luke Shaw, provided they all remain at the Mancunian outfit next season.
Along with these wages, Le10Sport report that Rabiot has also been offered an impressive signing-on fee worth €5 million (£4.43m).
It will be interesting to see whether the Frenchman accepts this lucrative offer from Manchester United, or instead chooses to join a club that would feature in the Champions League next season.
