Three Players That Real Madrid Are Offering MUFC For Paul Pogba
As Liverpool lifted the UEFA Champions League title on Saturday, Real Madrid’s thousand-plus days at the top of European football came to an end. Last season was a woefully poor one for Los Blancos who struggled under managerial mediocrity and lost out on all of their top honors.
In many ways, the club didn’t recover well from losing Cristiano Ronaldo as the players left in their lost were often aging flames that simply couldn’t sustain the level of football that Madrid are used to playing.
Now, Zidane is vengeful in his attempt to rebuild the squad into one that can be feared in Europe yet again and he clearly has the players in mind for the deal.
While Eden Hazard is all but assured to join them, the La Liga giants have another Premier League player in their sights and are willing to go to great heights to acquire him this summer.

According to the Times, Madrid are eager to secure Paul Pogba from Manchester United. However, Florentino Perez doesn’t want the deal to be a straight cash payment and would instead prefer to offer a few players from his roster to sweeten the affair. This could potentially be a masterstroke as it would also put into effect a squad overhaul.
The report pegs Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez, and Keylor Navas to be the players on offer from Madrid. This could certainly work out as the talents may fill important voids at Old Trafford.
Bale has been an active United target from years now and would secure the much-needed world-class presence in their forward line. In Rodriguez, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could find a creative replacement for Pogba as an attacking midfielder.
Lastly, Navas could solve the dilemma of David De Gea departing this summer itself. However, these are all highly specific scenarios rooted in complex contexts and would involve them rethinking their other transfer plans for the summer.
