Lille have revealed the fee Manchester United will have to cough up in order to sign Mike Maignan.

Having kept 15 clean sheets and helped his side secure a second-placed finish in the Ligue 1 this season, Maignan was named the Goalkeeper of the Year by the French professional footballers union.

He was also included in France’s squad for the first time ahead of this month’s Euro 2020 qualifiers by manager Didier Deschamps.

Naturally, the 23-year-old’s performances have attracted interest from all across Europe, with Ajax and Paris Saint-Germain dubbed as eager suitors. And now, as per latest reports, Manchester United have also entered the fray.

With David De Gea considering his options after having failed to agree a new contract at Old Trafford, the Red Devils have identified Maignan as his potential replacement, as per the Daily Record.

Due to the rising interest in their shot-stopper, Lille have increased their initial €25m valuation of their prized asset, and are now demanding €35m for his services.

The report adds that Ajax’s €40m-rated custodian Andre Onana is also on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s radar, with the Eredivisie giants rejecting a bid from Manchester United only last month.

Lastly, Barcelona‘s back-up goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen is the third option to succeed De Gea at the Theatre of Dreams, with the Dutchman pushing for a summer exit from Camp Nou.

Will the Mancunians sign De Gea’s successor this summer? And if they do, who will it be?
