Man United To Offer £45m-Plus-Player For West Ham Defender Issa Diop
Man United are interested in signing West Ham defender Issa Diop.
Diop joined West Ham United from Toulouse in a £22m switch last summer, and has since impressed heavily in the 38 appearances he has made for the London club.
One of those eye-catching performances was during the Hammers’ 3-1 win over Manchester United last season, following which Reds’ manager Jose Mourinho singled the centre-back out with praises.
The 22-year-old has attracted a lot of interest, but West Ham have remained adamant that their prized asset is not for sale.
Even if they are to be convinced of letting Diop go, it won’t be unless they receive a fee north of £60m for his services.

Now, the Frenchman has been identified as a top transfer target by Manchester United, who are interested in recruiting him this summer to resolve their issues at the back.
According to Sky Sports, the Mancunians are prepared to offer £45m plus a player for Issa, who would undoubtedly be a much cheaper alternative compared to the likes of Kalidou Koulibaly and Harry Maguire.
In fact, newly emerging reports suggest that the Red Devils have already discussed offering two defenders along with the aforementioned amount, but West Ham have shown no interest in accepting the offer.
