Man United Could Offer Two Players To Leicester City For Harry Maguire
The fact that Manchester United have gone entire windows without addressing their defensive woes has severely peeved supporters.
The leaky backline at Old Trafford was singlehandedly the looming issue that robbed the side of a top-four finish in the Premier League.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made it clear that the Red Devils will compete at the top level yet again. However, the state of their backline makes it seem quite doubtful.
While their fullbacks are somewhat stable save for Ashley Young manning the right-wing, it is in the heart of their defense that the club is most marred with flaws and sorely lacking in talent.

However, their latest approach may seek to amend that flaw in every regard.
According to the Sun, United will go all out in trying to acquire Harry Maguire from Leicester City. The Foxes are believed to be quite wary of giving up the English defender but prior reports had claimed that the player himself had earlier desired to be sold.
This new claim holds that the Red Devils will try to make the deal into an exchange of sorts by offering both Eric Bailly and Marcos Rojo in order to persuade Leicester to let go of the defender.

The same source adds that a mammoth bid of £80 million is being readied for Maguire and that the player will be offered a bumper five-year-long contract worth £350,000-a-week.
Man City are also deeply interested in securing the player’s signature and can offer him Champions League football and a crucial spot in their squad.
However, it is understood that the Sky Blues are wary of offering a deal as financially lucrative as their more illustrious neighbors and this may make all the difference in the end. If the Foxes accept this ‘exchange’ option from United, the Old Trafford outfit will also free up their backline.
