Man United Now Closer To Signing Issa Diop Due To Two Major Reasons
Manchester United’s chances of signing Issa Diop have “really increased” of late.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been on the lookout for central defensive reinforcements, and a number of players have been linked with an Old Trafford switch this summer.
West Ham United centre-back Issa Diop is amongst the newer names to be associated with Manchester United, with reports from last week suggesting the Reds were preparing a player-plus-cash offer for the Frenchman.
Now, France Football has claimed that the Mancunian giants’ chances of signing the 22-year-old have drastically increased due to two major reasons.

The first reason comes down to the Red Devils’ failure to sign Leicester City star Harry Maguire, who appears to be on the verge of joining Manchester City.
With their prime defensive target set to join their arch-rivals, United are now expected to direct all their efforts into completing the signing of Diop.
Secondly, the report adds that despite West Ham demanding an €84m fee for their prized asset, an agreement could be reached if Manchester United submit a bid in the region of €65m.
Hence, with the chance to seal this deal for a lesser price and some added motivation to back it up, this transfer could very well reach its conclusion sooner than expected.
