Man Utd Close To 19-Year-Old Defender – Meeting ‘In The Next Few Hours’

Manchester United have joined the race to sign Ozan Kabak.

The 19-year-old centre-back has attracted a tremendous amount of interest, despite the fact that Stuttgart were relegated from the Bundesliga this season.

In fact, his side’s failure to remain in the German top flight has all but confirmed that the in-demand defender will be switching clubs this summer.

Moreover, the fact that this talented youngster has a release clause worth a meagre €15 million has further increased the number of suitors looking to seal this low-priced transfer.

As per German outlet Kicker, Bavarian juggernauts Bayern Munich have already held talks with Kabak’s entourage, but no agreement has been reached between the two parties just yet.

The report adds that apart from Bayern, numerous other clubs, including AC Milan, West Ham United, and Manchester United, are ‘close’ to the Turk.

Further, MilanNews24 (via SportWitness) have shed more light on the Mancunians’ situation, claiming the Red Devils’ representatives are set to meet Kabak’s management ‘in the next few hours’ to officially submit their offer.

Manchester United are expected to table a deal that is quite similar to that of Milan. But with such a low release clause, the club offering the best contract is more likely to win the race for the teenager’s services.
