Twitter Reacts As Man United Agree Aaron-Wan Bissaka Signing
Manchester United are expected to complete the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace and a medical will take place soon.
The 21-year-old right-back will be acquired for a reported £50 million and United are believed to have offered him a long-term contract worth over £90,000-a-week which is a massive step-up from the £10,000 or so he made at Crystal Palace.
This is a transfer that United supporters have been waiting for keenly and have been rightfully hyped as a result. A majority of the transfer news from the past weeks has been disappointing for the fans of the Red Devils as saga after saga seemed to have broken down.
Their pursuit for top-name players, in particular, seemed to have held the most failures, largely due to the lack of Champions League football for next season.

However, with this deal in the bag, those supporters have a lot to cheer about. Wan-Bissaka has been amongst the most exciting prospects in the Premier League and his performances over last season had raised the hope of many a fan.
Several took to Twitter to express their joy at the signing.

I know it’s fashionable to beat Man Utd with a stick nowadays but £50m for AWB doesn’t sound bad when you think he will be their right-back for at least 10 years. £5m a year for a player that will only get better doesn’t sound bad to me #MUFC

Daniel James & AWB ✅
If #MUFC sign Maguire, Sean Longstaff, Maddison/Bruno/Eriksen and Wissam ben Yedder If Lukaku leaves, it will be the best Window we’ve had since Fergie’s retirement. Proper players, No shirt selling overrated muppets

This transfer comes in the midst of a lot of anger from the United supporters, particularly towards the Glazers ownership and the way they have been handling the club.
As of such, there were many cynics who critiqued and trolled the fact that both Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are unknown players who weren’t up to the stock of United’s normal signings.

However, the signing of Wan-Bissaka has largely raised moral amongst the supporter base and they are clearly eager to see who will arrive next.
