Manchester United have set a humongous price tag on Paul Pogba.

The Frenchman has already admitted that he would love to face a new challenge elsewhere, and these statements have only fuelled the speculation linking him with an Old Trafford exit.

While Juventus have expressed an interest in re-signing the 26-year-old, Real Madrid are still the favourites to secure his services this summer.

Zinedine Zidane remains a huge fan of his fellow compatriot, and he intends to recruit Pogba in order to strengthen Los Blancos’ midfield department.

After having splashed £250 million to bring in the likes of Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Ferland Mendy, Eder Militao, and Rodrygo, Real Madrid plan to conclude their spending spree by signing Pogba.

However, they now face a huge mountain to climb in their pursuit of the 2018 World Cup winner, due to Manchester United‘s enormous valuation of their talisman.

According to the Mirror, the Red Devils will only let Paul Pogba leave if they receive £150m in straight cash for his services.

This very demand rules out a potential swap deal involving the star midfielder and out-of-favour Welshman Gareth Bale, who has been linked with a sensational return to the Premier League.

With a quarter million already spent, will Real break their bank even further to sign Zidane’s top midfield target?
