Leicester City have demanded a mammoth figure for Harry Maguire.

Reports emerging on Tuesday revealed that Manchester United had tabled an improved bid worth £70m for Maguire, thereby surpassing Manchester City in this transfer race.

However, that offer was turned down straightaway by the Foxes, who are said to be holding out for a record-breaking fee for their prized centre-back.

Now, the Telegraph have revealed the precise amount that Leicester City are demanding for the 26-year-old.

As per the report, the King Power outfit has made it clear to all the interested parties that they will not entertain any offers below £90m.

Not only do Leicester expect a record-shattering bid, but it is understood that an acceptable fee for Maguire could even end up reaching the £100m mark.

The source adds that the England international, who is yet to return to his club’s pre-season training camp, has shown no direct indication about his intention to secure a transfer elsewhere.

Therefore, with the player looking likely to stay put, Leicester City have not begun searching for his potential successors in central defence either.

The report concludes by stating that this matter about his future will only be resolved once Maguire finishes his extended break and returns to pre-season training.
